I thoroughly enjoyed the plots and schemes. Great series!

Movies covering slavery are difficult to stomach; but if you can get past the painful emotions, this is an Excellent movie and historical account of an iconic figure. It showcased OUTSTANDING acting by Will Smith. He is very believable, and this may be among his best work.

This series left me with mixed feelings. I don’t want to spoil it for those who haven’t seen it yet but the twists and turns are definitely unpredictable. Adam knows. I’ll leave it there.

I really enjoyed this series, mostly because the acting was convincing. As each episode ended, I anxiously awaited the next and ended up binge watching it. That being said, there were a few disappointing moments. SPOILER ALERT: There was no justice for Nadine, and given that her scratch marks were left on her killer’s arms, I saw major holes there. What? Did the writers run short on ideas? Finally, the ending was true to life; HOWEVER, I really, really wanted a feel good ending, where justice was served. I felt very let down by the ending. I have real life for those kinds of disparities in our racially slanted justice system. This was supposed to be “make believe” and I wanted to walk away smiling. Instead I was left with frustration.
