Only continued to watch to see the murderer get caught so literally only stayed out of curiosity. Very disappointing, below the bar acting & a beige cast, India’s obsession with white skin has made the female actors in this hard to tell apart they literally all look alike, so very confusing. Was excited to see this British Asian mix, but this movie was a flop & missed out on a great opportunity to make a huge splash in the Brit Asian category of movies. Boring story line, pathetic even, It’s not even worth 1 star.

Brilliant movie, I would’ve given it 5 stars if tyrese Gibsons character didn’t exist, all he did was walk fiercely & mysteriously look into the distance, his partner had better lines & gave more than he did.

I just now watched the movie & while it’s still fresh in my brain, I would like to list some pros & cons about it. Pros, keke palmer was fantastic, her acting really carried the movie in my opinion. Another pro is how the story line & plot is so simple but never the less fascinating. Also The visuals are breath taking. A con for me was the decision they made to class this movie as a horror, I was expecting the usual scary stuff you would find in a horror but there isn’t any. A bit of blood now & than but that’s all. & my last con is Daniel kaluuya, it pains me to say this because I think he is a great actor but in this movie his acting didn’t come across as well as his previous work. To me he was over acting at times & his acting, well felt like acting.

Sorry this is a long one. In Season 1 Ep 2, Dylan who is gina’s ex boyfriend is back in gina’s life & she has told him about her & her twin sisters secret swapping routine & he thinks leni is still in LA playing Gina when in fact leni is back in echoes playing herself & Gina is the one actually missing. While talking to who he believes is Gina, he asked her if her sister is still pretending to be her, but the way he worded it was really stupid & must be a huge mistake because he says & I quote “ is your sister still pretending to be gina” when he should’ve said “is your sister still pretending to be YOU ” as he is under the impression he is talking to Gina in that moment. Not sure if the writers are purposely trying to confuse the audience further with tricks but if they are that’s a poor decision because it compromises the script. I mean come on, No one ever asks a person a question about that person using that persons name to indicate they are asking a question about them lol. It’s just really weird & annoying & a silly decision or mistake. He should be talking to her in 2nd person (you, yours, yourself). at this point the script is essentially ignoring the basic laws of the English language. TBH I don’t know how much more I can bare of this programme. Oh & I was generous with the 2 stars.
