I absolutely adore this movie! Timeless classic. I am very upset that it’s not available for streaming yet, if it ever will be available to stream. I heard the producers didn’t think it important enough to put it in the right format?! I’m furious & disappointed. This was one of my favorite❤️ movies growing up. I was born in 83, & I know so many women who grew up watching this coming of age classic, & who connected & learned from it, & who grew as people. This movie is outstanding. It’s plot is thick-serious & complicated, & yet fun & simple. All of the actors do an amazing job. Christina Ricci plays Rosie O’ Donnell, Thora Birch plays Melanie Griffith, Ashleigh Ashton Moore plays Rita Wilson, & Gabi Hoffman plays Demi Moore. Devon Sawa is also in this movie, too (he & Ricci kiss 💋). It takes place in the ‘70s in a small town in Indianna (I ), & has many plots going on. It’s such a great well put-together movie. & I loved & owned it “Then” (I bought it on vhs 📼 in the ‘90s), & I love & want it “Now”..I’m buying it on dvd so that my almost 8-year-old can enjoy it in her years to come. I highly suggest that whoever is in control of getting this movie available to stream-see that it’s done already! Shame on you for not thinking it important enough to hv it ✅ , earlier. Hopefully you will come to your senses soon. I’ve seen way worse (WAY WORSE!!) movies be available for streaming, & am frankly, insulted. Pls watch if you like coming-of-age movies. This one is a timeless classic.
