Being a daughter of the South East Asia culture, I love seeing Asia's rich and vibrant food culture being portrayed in the media. However, the editing style is very monochrome, and the narrative is a bit way too slow. The camera filter turns the food into a questionable depressing grayscale colour. It would achieve the effect if the producer were trying to focus on the story of the street food sellers, but I wish they would've switched up the filter whenever they show food and dishes. It was disappointing for me and my roommates who were watching this show while missing our home.
