This movie frankly fell flat, another example of a timeless classic being redone to attempt a cash grab and falling flat. A lot of people i knew were very excited about this movie, as a sequel to a classic and halloween staple almost 30 years later, who didnt want to check it out. The good, the origin story was a nice edition. The reuse of the original witches was vital and probably the best part of the story/movie. Past that things get ROUGH. The plot was poorly thought out with multiple weak points and plot holes. The movie has been completely DEI'd removing all strong male characters, removing white men entirely and making the one male in the story a fool and silly boy for the duration of the film. I think disney was more worried about diversity then a quality plot, character chemistry and quality filming. Not surpising from the Disney that existed in 2022 & still does today, a shell of its former glory. The excesssive addition of female high school drama slows the film and takes away from the plot. Most of the characters are weak giving us little interest or understanding of them and thus little reason to root for them. The ending felt super rushed and the sudden last minute mistake by Winfred seems out of character and then her sudden revaltion only her sisters matter is a nice sentiment but just seemed like a quick way to end the film. I also question the idea of making the book almost humaniod with feelings, emotions, crying etc it just seems unlike the book from the original film. The film tries to reuse old phrases, actions and moments from the original only for them to fall flat and not hit.. Out of 10 stars i would give this film at most 3 stars. The new characters, their lack of chemistry, relatability, acting skills. The overall plot holes and issues turn this long await film into a disappointment of what could have been. This movie has a ton of potential it was unrealized. I think either making the 2nd film a complete origin story or a story about the children of the original main characters might have been a lot better angle. Worth a watch just too see it, if your a fan of the first movie but not a film worth watching a second time. I did watch it twice once when it came out in 2022 and again this year and did not feel any better about it the second time around.

Eye opening film. If you are someone who isn't much into documentaries dont be concerned. It is riveting and fast paced. He doesn't over analyze any one issue but chooses to dig into 8 to 10 different areas. This documentary is meant to give you an idea at how many issues commercial fishing creates on a wildlife,human, environment & plant scale. This documentary is only a starting point in the depth and level that these issues reach. This is a documentary that for the right person can open their eyes and change the way they see the world. I would recommend it honestly to anyone who cares about wildlife or out planet as a whole! Poignant & under-covered how much corruption and disregard people have about things that are effecting are day to day lives. A must watch. Remember anyone can change the world, all you have to do is try & be the change you want to see in the world!

Highly recommend this movie out of about 200 plus horror movies I watched over the course of Feb 2018- may 2018 this is one of only about 4 or 5 I can even remeber by name! I was shocked at the review by rotten tomatoes and others. I felt the whole movie kept you on the edge of your seat and definatly ended with a huge plot twist.If you are trying to decide to watch this movie or not, 10/10 watch it, you wont be disappointed!
