"Loosely based" should be the description. Very little is actually in line with the wonderfully written books and carefully developed characters that Robyn Carr created. What made these books addicting is rewritten for Netflix. This series is good if you never read the books. For me it was disappointing to watch because my characters got lost in the screen writing.
