I love the flashback and getting to the roots of everything. I hope this is where the show goes to wind up the series, if this is the end.
Eve -- Remember when she bailed really fast on Annalise back when Annalise admitted to her that Annalise had used half of Sam's insurance money to hire a hit man to take out Frank, remember this anyone? At that moment Eve said she had a new gal pal in San Fran and left in a hurry. (I never bought that. I think Eve was the confidential informant in the next season.) Anyway, maybe this will get all tied up.
Annalise's big revelation is that she wanted to adopt Wes -- OK, that makes sense and explains a lot. But, why would that give the governor so much leverage over her? There must be more to it.
So Wes is Mahoney's grandson. Maybe Annalise already knew that? Not likely.
I feel like a big arc is coming. All the grown ups: Nate, Bonnie, Frank and Annalise are murderers this season. The kids are all right. I see foreshadowing that the kids are going to grow out of their relationship with Annalise and try to get out of her world. Laurel has a child ( who happens to be the great grandson of a bazillionaire), Connor and Oliver have pledged to protect each other, Asher and Michaela are working their way back to a healthy relationship. The grown ups-- not so much. Mabe the show will end with the kids leaving the grown ups. Maybe even GRADUATING!! Then at the end we see Annalise, Bonnie and Frank going to a new university and looking for 5 new interns.
Bonnie -- she is usually always so logical no matter what emotional nutstorm is going on. But this time, she does not want to think that Miller was a good guy in love with her. But she soon will realize that is the case, after some ingenous plot twists, like going to get CHinese food at the restaurant by the pay phone. More tragic trauma for Bonnie. So then the question is: who did set up the killing of Nate's dad? How will Nate deal with knowing he killed an innocent man?
Will Eve be working with the governor? That's a stretch.
Still love this show.
