Peterson is an arrogant creepy crawly thing who murdered his wife and nearly got away with it. He’s not a likeable guy despite his crime. The issue I had with this documentary - which was entertaining - the joking, giggling and total frivolity by he and his attorneys was so inappropriate in light of the death of this poor woman. It was disrespectful. I also didn’t understand how her children could so blindly support this man, turning a blind eye to the evidence. The blood bathed walls told the story. There it was in black and red for all to see. A simple fall does not bathe the walls in blood not to mention that injuries to the rest of her body, clearly man made. He needs to remain in prison til his end days.

Some times art is better on a canvas. A lot of energy went into this movie, but it was not a good movie. Probably one of the worst I’ve seen next to Eraserhead, worst movie of all time. It bounced back and forth, in and out, up and down, to the point you had no special reference or character understanding or even a clear view of what this movie was about because it was intended not to make any sense, and they were successful. Long boring scenes in a car where the actors waxed intelligently aiming to impress upon you their intellect. Good actors in this mess….some really bad makeup in the final scene. ? Why? Walk away from this one ,folks. I couldn’t even finish reading the spoilers. That bad.

This was a very intense suspenseful series that I truly enjoyed. There were some holes however and the chronology of the bouncing timeline was a bit overkill. The players portraying the “couple” were spot on in my opinion. I loved the costumes which were of my era. If you feel you just don’t see enough retro takes of some of the beautiful hippy clothing, you will love this. It really embraces that era well with the backpacking thru Nirvana hippies and their creative clothing, even the embodiment of “the dirty hippies” reference - those backpackers who had no access to grooming facilities. Great series, wish there were more!
