I liked the story and the aspects it wanted to focus. But it's bad the crime of characters have been almost justified with their background trauma. This is a sensitive topic and if you are going to approach it like the sinner, the direction need to be very good. The characters could be kept indifferent, so that the decision lies on the audience. But giving them an empathetic view is literally what's the society doesn't need. And the screenplay is poor. Overall the series has tried to present the Indian story with a western outlook but badly fails with it.
