MALHAR MUKHERJEE

First of all I was super excited when I heard the news of a new TV series based on LOTR (coz I am a huge fan of the movie trilogy by Peter Jackson) and even more excited that amazon was making it because they don't spare any expenses when it comes to their TV shows like the boys etc. I also loved shows like Reacher, The Terminal list, Jack Ryan that are all from the same studio. But this was an abomination. A gigantic mess to say the least. 2 episodes in and I still have no idea whats going on and don't give a damn about any of the characters especially galadriel. I have to say among all the unlikable characters i saw, she was the most insufferable one. Really don't think the actress understands who she is playing. There wasn't a single male character that looked competent enough to match the women on this show coz they are all jacked up by the power of feminism. May be the black elf and yes i am gonna call him that because thats all he could talk about during the promotion.Not the acting, just the representation. The fact he grew up watching LOTR and didnt see 'himself' represented as an elf. Well guess what sir, NEITHER DID THE REST OF US AND THATS FINE COZ ELFS AREN'T REAL!!!! I know I am not fit to play Batman. But the world does not owe me an apology for that and make the next Batman a brown guy from India. The sheer insecurity of these actor/activists just blows my mind. But that's how things are supposed to be these days I guess. I mean there are so many things thats wrong about this show I don't think I can talk about all of them. The only good thing about this show are the visuals in some of the scenes which is the least expected thing given the budget. I was really hoping for the next GOT and had high expectations from this show. But basically what they have done is make their own story with a bunch of modern political messaging with no regards for the actual lore and using the IP to draw the audience in which is a huge misdirection for people going in hoping that this is a LOTR show. It is not.

This movie is everything i expected from Zack Snyder's Justice League and so much more! We seriously need to see what happens next in the snyderverse which is why we need it restored!!!WB studios should rethink their strategy about this.There is just so much potential in this universe that'll be wasted if they don't.
