I'm amazed at people calling the movie creepy because cats are acting like people. I don’t see how this is different from Spider-Man or any of the others. The Cats movie isn't meant to be a reality show. I thought Judi Dench brought a firm but loving twist to the character of Old Dueteronomy, which has always been played by a man. The rest of the cast was equally good, and there were minimal changes from the original. I plan to see it again.
