I still wonder why redford made hundreds of sailing errors in the movie. I mean noone sailing a boat solo would do half the stupid stuff he does, as if it was intentional. Any sailor laughs outloud at this film based on sailing principles alone and i still want an explanation as to the grave errors committed. Was it intentional? Or did no sailing consultant get hired ?
