Quaeryt Marcotte

Robert Plant does some incredible work on this album. His efforts to expand an emotional context to his playing worked beyond anyone's expectations. He makes the guitar sing! There is no rush to get the feeling and atmosphere of each track out there deliberately. It just happens. There is an almost purposeful sense that Palmer is letting his bandmates use their instruments to resonate individually in a harmonious and soulful cadence. He uses the spaces to create an atmosphere that expands the songs beyond the individual performances into a soulful experience.
