This was by far the best Crime Drama of the Year. The story line was feasible. The script was well written. The Direction and Production was first class. The acting was sensational my TV Oscars go to Kate Winslet and Jean Smart who played Helen Mare's long suffering mother. I am still in stitches laughing at the speech at the wake ! Supporting Oscars go to everyone else even the walk on actors. Watching this will paradoxically up lift you.

This was an exceptional programme. The acting, the story, the production, the photography was superb. It took you back and drew you in to the liquid Klondike that was Stavanger. The experience was seen from many directions through realistic personal stories. The narrative was compelling. On reflection it wasn’t superb, it was awesome. There was fantastic performances from every member of the cast even the minor roles gave outstanding realistic performances. The script, direction, production and filming kept you enthralled. Great use of music. I’ve played and played Proud Mary, New World in the Morning and Dusty’s version of Windmills of your mind. This was top entertainment worth watching time and time again. In short- I liked it. Many thanks.
