Just perfect. I think this may be one of the most beautifully written, dramatically balanced, visually exquisite and perfectly put together series ive ever seen on the screen. I laughed, i cried and I was absolutely floored by everything- the visuals, the acting, the stuntwork, the cgi. All of it. Dont miss it. And if you can - watch the first two and then go see the third. Its worth it.

First let me say i would be perfectly happy watching tom hanks tie his shoelaces. Next i freely admit after eye rolling and shaking my head at what begins as another grumpy old person movie, quickly turns into something else. Otto importantly tackles a very current issue with so many in our population reaching advanced maturity: senior depression, isolation suffered as retirement is mandated, and how a body is damaged in the course of living a normal life, when a partner is lost and families make choices about supporting aging loved ones or not. The performances are surprising and real and even memorable. You're not sure how its all going to come out but its going but its going to be a place of resolution and thats very reassuring. The love in this film is palpable. So he might narrow his eyes and scowl at a stray cat but we know Tom Hanks embodies love and will make it right because he always has. Im so glad we have him.

first season: FANTASTIC! second season: REALLY REALLY AWFUL!! (Bad writing and too much of the ghastly queen and her singsong “acting” or whatever you call it)

Fascinating and promising start but last two episodes were pseudoscience and pointless. We found the ending utterly incomprehensible and even dumb.

Promising start, excellent cast, good premise but incredibly dull script: movie bogs down relatively rapidly and dimply doesn’t produce many surprises. I forced myself to not dose just to see the twist/ending which was pretty good but not great. This should have been A LOT more interesting.
