So disappointing. The thinly constructed veneer of near future space exploration fails to make this shoulda-been-a-short-story examination of parenting and, ... well, stoicism? ... serves no purpose beyond developing whatever muscles are used in eye rolls. They get a real workout.
Most definitely a waste of time.
