I just watched the episode on Alpha Gal. I live in central NC. My cousin, my brother and I all suffer from Alpha Gal. My scores were over 99%. It has totally changed my lifestyle. I can no longer go out to eat without interrogating the wait staff and chef. Most restaurants cannot guarantee non cross contamination of beef products, so I eat veggies. Not so exciting after years. I visited Dr. Cummings, and was able to get an alpha gal friendly flu shot. You see, most vaccines contain bovine. This summer I came in contact with a rabid bat. Again, had to do two days of research to locate a facility that could administer non bovine vaccines. It is a total game changer.
