I feel like the show was nothing more than attempt to make up for the botch job of making Daenerys Targaryen the "Mad Queen". The overall direction of the show thus far does not leave me to hope for much. Based on what I had seen so far I feel like it could have simply been a movie instead of a series.

I wanted this to be so good so badly. I at first got past the casting of characters to another sex. However this is not foundation and aside some names and places is no where near the books. What takes away from the success of show is the massive deviations from the book and the character themselves. What made some of the characters great was using wit and gile not force to succeed. I would be OK with the series if inspired by foundation and leaving it at that.
