Let me tell you that this movie is absolute rubbish.
I wouldn't even have bothered with giving it one star had there not been good graphics, like the explosions and all. The editors have done a good job.
However, it's the story writers that slacked off...a typical action movie. There's no plot. Quite like Bandhan as a previous comment mentioned.
Spoiler alert!
The story consists of two brothers - Vikram and Ronnie. Ronnie, the younger one, is a powerful guy ever since childhood; beats up boys twice his size. Their father, a police inspector, dies during an encounter when they're quite young. Knowing that Ronnie was the stronger one, he makes him promise that he will always protect his elder brother, and this is the whole point of the story.
A great but unoriginal message. But if that's what the Indian audience wants, that's what they'll get.
There's just so much wrong with this story -:
1) unoriginal plot (literally)
2) Mocking a country (Syria)...You tryna say that terrorism that the country's professional task forces couldn't eradicate our guy, Ronnie, did it with negligible use of weapons.
Also,
When it's other countries being poked fun at, it's all chill for us Indians. When someone treats our country similarly, we can't stand it. Not everyone really does this, but the majority is responsible. You need to give respect to command respect.
3) Logic
Gravity, Friction....Physics? They do exist or am I mad?
A guy single-handedly tackles all the bad guys teaming up on him, destroys their machinery like 3 helicopters? The army tanks? Bullets being fired from literally all directions? Keep in mind he's portrayed as a normal (but not so normal) man in the movie.
4) Shraddha Kapoor
This deserved its own point. Firstly she has no main role in the movie. Doesn't enhance or demean any part of the movie. Like there was no need for her as a next to the lead character. The sister in the movie still improves the non-existent plot like at least. She's just a comic sidekick and that's it.
5) Plagiarism?
Yes! this point hasn't been mentioned, but the movie's song featuring Disha Patani is a stolen version of the British record producer Troy boi's song 'Do you'. Some can argue that the movie used a licensed version of the song, but the producer himself isn't in favour of the fact.
However, I would have to give credit to the movie for action. It's definitely action no matter how illogical. So if you are interested in action and only action, go-ahead...The movie is full of it. However, if you care about the plot even a little, this movie is a no go for you.
There were some moments in the story which were somewhat enjoyable like the scene where 'Vikram' realises that he too can fight if he was willing.
That's all.
