It’s been It’s been a very long time since I’ve actually stood up and clapped at the end of a movie. The whole theater stood up and clapped, it was spontaneous. The action, the acting, the characters, the depth and accuracy of this movie so far surpassed any thing I’ve seen in almost a decade. There will be a lot of people trying to compare the 1970s movie that was made with Charlton Heston, don’t, because there is nothing to compare. I personally doubt that anyone else within the theater other than someone with a PhD in history, that may have developed their thesis on Midway, would know more about the events than me. The accuracy and detail was never sacrificed for anything theatrical in telling the story. It’s been along time since I’ve actually really enjoyed the movie, this one is a must see.
