This is by far one of my favorite anime series, and has lots of great, emotional twists and recommend it to any anime lover. I would give a solid 9/10. It also has great songs and openings :)
I also recommend anime like Akame Ga Kill, Ao No Exorcist, and Shokugeki no Soma.
