Hands down my favorite TV show growing up in the 80s. Would watch episodes on Showtime and record them. I didn't get to see them all until I was an adult and could check them out from the library. Now they are on Amazon Prime and I'm watching the series through for a 3rd time. I still enjoy this show; the characters, the scenery and sets, the stories, the musical score by Clannad, everything about it. The fighting has not stood the test of time, but if you view it as stage fighting rather than cinematic fighting it is exceptional. I'd still rank this in my personal top 5 tv shows of all time.
