When I first saw this, I had my fingers crossed as I am a big fan of the manga. But as usual, Netflix can't produce anything without its ounce of neo marxist propaganda: Catholic Church = bad, Patriarchy = bad, Jesus Christ = bad. Anything associated with the LGBTQIINFINITEALPHABET= good. It's all so tiring. I understand how every Netflix production has its Woke Genre but it's all so tiring. The entire theme of the manga has been flipped 180 degrees. It's like making a life of Adolf Hitler who volunteers at a soup kitchen helping the poor. So if you're a fan of the manga, you'll be disappointed. If you enjoy woke material with cringe one liners, predictable plots and horrible CGI, give this a go.
