Ok, so out of 5 stars I would give it 3.5-4 star rating.
The good: I really like the feel of the game. It has very smooth mechanics, there is a lot of customization options. The story is decent. The zombie mechanics are awesome, and definitely a game changer. The visuals are amazing. There is virtually no learning curve which I really like in my games. Overall a great experience
The bad: There isnt too many bad things about this game but there is definitely one big issue with the game. There is not much to do after you play through the campaign (which is very very short). I am only a couple hours into the campaign and I am already on the last chapter. I mean, there is only so much you can do with a zombie survival game that hasnt been done 100 times before. I wouldve liked to have seen a larger campaign. I also would have liked to see more multiplayer PVP options. Currently, there is only one option for multiplayer PVP which is a snooze fest. I mean, you cant really expect much for a $35 game.
Overall, it is definitely a decent game. If you are looking for a quick, low commitment game purchase that you want to enjoy for spring break or something and then never really touch again, this is the perfect game for you. If you are looking for a game with a larger variety of options available to you, a more fulfilling campaign then this really isnt the best option. For the price and enjoyment that I got out of it I definitely think it holds up to expectations. So far, it is a very pleasant experience, I enjoy playing through the campaign. There are some new zombie mechanics that we havent seen before which continue to WOW me every time I see a swarm. I wish I could give it 5 stars but it really is just one of those games that you play for a week or two and then move on. Nothing too too special about this one.
