Jenna absolutely nailed the part of Wednesday Addams, typical Tim Burton dark storyline and sets, great cast and such a gripping story line

This was from the golden years of TV before the PC brigade hit, when we were allowed to laugh. Gorden Kaye (Rene) headed up a fantastic cast in this hilarious sitcom based in Nazi occupied French town of Nuvion, trying to run a cafe with his wife while employing and seeing his prostitute waitresses, keeping the German troops and officers happy while secretly working with both the French and Communist Restance whose leader is in love with Rene. 2 British Airmen need to escape back to the UK being hidden by Rene under the noses of the Germans, A valuable painting that goes to and fro the cafe, the gestapo and Nazi Officers. A French policeman who is actually a British Inteligent officers speaks bad French, with the twist that the whole cast is speaking English but the French dont understand the English and Vice versa except Michelle of the French Resistance and the French Policeman. Add in a Wife who cant sing, An escaped lag who was broken out by the french resistance could be her father, who has a million disguises that all are the same, a German officer who fancies Rene. The female cast often in their underwear, a lot of cross dressing, and silly plots and the fact Rene gets shot by the Nazis only for the German Commandant to replace the bullets for blanks in Series 1 and portrays himself as his identical twin brother for the rest of the series. Add in an Undertaker who takes a fancy to Renes wife, The resistance breaking into a POW Concentration camp, you really need to watch it to enjoy it and unscrew your mind from the various hilarious plots.
