I rarely love writing reviews of any show I watch , however this one is a must . This drama was such an amazing drama from start to finish . The amount of hard work and professionalism and effort put into this show was amazing , frankly speaking I did not find an amazing saeguk like that in the last 7 years . The story was extremely unique , and lee Jun ho and lee se young’s acting was just phenomenal. The way they managed to fit into their roles and really act like real life lovers was just amazing, I never cried this hard EVER on a show , this just proves how amazing their acting skills were . Another interesting thing was also how realistic this story was overall and how they portrayed love in a realistic manner unlike how other shows do . You really do sympathize and understand both sides and how they view love . Also kudos for the brilliant cast along with the excellent pd for such an amazing drama . I really couldn’t find any flaws that I could actually mention in my review , hence as to why I easily gave this show a 5 . This is going to really be a memorable show to me ,It was excellent and I don’t think I can ever find in the near future any drama as amazing as this one (rewatching the drama as we speak ) . Final verdict :- A MUST WATCH . Don’t miss out on this gem , you really won’t regret it . One of the best saeguk dramas ever made , and the best drama of 2021 imo .

one of the best chinese dramas in 2019, if not , hands down the best with changaan shi er shi chen., the plot, the characters were all perfect, and fleshed out . what even impressed me was the storyline, it was amazing, as i loved the family dynamics,and sheng minglans transition from an unfavoured sixth daughter, to a woman who managed a household with an iron fist, even when her husband was imprisoned , and was sent to the battle field, she protected the household at all costs. This is even one of the best slice of life dramas i ever watched. Daylight entertainment still impresses me with their amazing dramas produced each year, and looking forward to held in the lonely castle airing this year.
