*A romcom that's not your typical romcom that's definitely worth watching* This drama is fun and light with an interesting plot based on an alternate universe where women are men, and men are women. The male and female leads have great chemistry and their love story is so cute! I kept seeing raving reviews everywhere and I was like, how amazing can a cdrama be, they're all more or less the same.. but now I understand why everyone became so obsessed. It's obviously a super cute love story but I think it was also nice to see - even if it's only in our imagination - what life would be like if we lived in a society where men and women were equal. Super excited for Season 2 - but they definitely have a high bar to beat given how amazing Season 1 was!

*This is not a drama about two gay lovers* - not that I would have any issue with it if it was. It's just that I originally had no interest in watching The Untamed because I thought it was all about two guys falling in love. IT IS SO NOT THAT. Family, friendship, love, loyalty, sacrifice, betrayal. I don't even know how to put my feelings on this show into words that would do it justice. I'm still processing the rollercoaster of emotions I just went through lol. This is just an absolutely beautifully done drama and def worth the watch. I think The Untamed will be a drama that I'll remember watching 50 years from now. And it truly deserves all the praise and international recognition is has received thus far and more. There were so many scenes where I felt like I was just stabbed in the heart because it's about so much more than what we saw on screen. These characters are all complex and the show did such a great job in portraying the essence of who they are. I love a drama where there's crazy character development so without a doubt, this is why Lan Zhan (Lan Wangji) is my favourite. The contrast from who he was at the beginning, to who he was after the demise of Wei Ying (Wei Wuxia). How he learned that the world is not black and white and how it's okay to break the rules sometimes. Just such an amazing character. I could honestly go on and on in this review, but final words are: The show runners and actors did a phenomenal job in how they portrayed the romance of the two main leads in the book - to a sense of camaraderie and understanding in one another in the drama. A different kind of love that isn't romantic yet it still pulled on your heartstrings.

This wasn't as cringy as I thought it would be! Honestly, I decided to watch this after becoming Wang Yibo's fan. I finished SDC3, The Untamed and Legend of Fei and thought I'd see his work before he got super famous. I was expecting Gank your Heart to be superrrrr cringy but it actually wasn't that bad! While it still had some cliche moments and weak side storylines, the drama itself was pretty decent with a good enough plot. I would recommend this show for any fan of Wang Yibo's, as it was nice to see him in a boyfriend role :) P.S. This was the first time I actually wanted the ML to be with the second FL (Mi Ya). I felt like their love story was wayyyy cuter and they had better chemistry than the main FL haha.

This c-drama is one for the hopeless romantics out there who love, love! In comparing seasons 1 and 2, I felt like season 1 spent more time developing the love between the two main characters and there seemed to be more effort in playing out the different storylines. I felt season 2 didn't get into the plot as deep but there were many cute moments and the last few episodes were really well done! If you watched and became obsessed with season 1 like I did (lol) then you'll appreciate season 2 - as it felt like closure to the love story of Ling boss and his lady :) I would recommend giving this show a watch!

I can see why this show got 5 stars from all the reviews, it's actually really well done! It's got your super cute "make you want to swoon" romantic parts (lol) - and an interesting, non-cringy storyline that is well played out throughout the episodes. Tbh, I wasn't really into the male lead in the beginning but he definitely grows on you and I gradually became more and more impressed by his acting and range of emotions as the show progressed. His unwavering love for the female lead is so fun to watch! All in all, I would highly recommend this show and I can't wait for season 2!

Just finished watching Legend of Fei - what a beautiful and fulfilling ending to a wonderful coming of age drama that took us through a tumultuous journey of self discovery, sacrifice, love and good prevailing over evil. I really liked Xie Yun, the male lead's character. Without spoiling too much, I love his view on life and his lack of greed and need for revenge. He just wants to live a happy, carefree life with the one he loves. Also he's super cute lol I don't understand how someone can be so good looking! 5 stars! And I would highly recommend watching!

Haven't watched a k-drama in 10 years but saw this on Netflix and thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did b/c I really enjoyed it! Very interesting and out of the ordinary storyline and I was very impressed by the acting of the cast. Everyone played their part so well which made the show even better - I was so invested in the characters! Would love to see the main leads in another drama soon - their chemistry is undeniable!
