People watch films for entertainment or to transform their boredom into enjoyment. But this film "Major" is a blended mix of love, empathy , respect , pain, sacrifice, patriotism and especially truth. The screen play is amazing, every dialouge hits very hard. Major is the biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan a 26/11 hero. So this story is not made and it happened for real. May be that is the reason why it seemed like the story of our own cousin or a neighbor who lives down the lane. In the climax Sandeeps's father says " My son should not be remembered for his sacrifice for the country but he should be remembered for the way he lived. He knew that he would die if he go up stairs but that thought didn't stop him to protect the people around him". This movie gives a beautiful message for all the generations. What is better than getting tons of knowlede to lead your life by watching a 2.5 hours of film? Music and Vfx are out of the box. Each song in this movie has a very deep meaning and it tickles your heart everytime you listen to it. The vfx seem very natural. I am kind of a person who will not be emotional when it comes to movies but this film made my mask wet. A must watch!!
