Unfortunately, if you haven't read King's masterpiece, the series is hard to follow because of the flaskbacks in time.

I read The Stand a long time ago. I was home from work with the flu ( oddly enough) and read the book, cover to cover in 3 days. To me this is Stephen King's masterpriece. And the performance is worthy of the book.
