I am so disappointed with the TV coverage of Formula 1. I have been a keen follower of F1 since the days of Stirling Moss (yes, a long time and - yes - I am 'old', well over 70!). My biggest disappointment is with the coverage of the Monaco Grand Prix. I remember watching Stirling Moss win the races in 1960 and 1961 - live on BBC television, beating the sharknose Ferraris in 1961. To my knowledge, the Monaco Grand Prix has always been live on terrestrial TV since that time - UNTIL THIS YEAR Now we have highlights only on Channel 4 - and only costly Sky shows it live (on a subscription channel). I do not have Sky - and have no intention of getting it. For me, this is a sad time as our TV coverage is getting worse - after 60 years.
