Visuals are stunning (as expected) but the story is too bland. Certain scenes feel too dragged out to meet the 3 hour+ quota.

If you're deciding to watch it expecting a somewhat realistic portrayal of a post-apocalyptic world divided in a society based on class, with the lowest, most oppressed class rebelling against the privileged, then you're going to be disappointed. This movie is more like an R rated Charlie and the Chocolate factory (you can even draw parallels between the two movies), with unrealistic scenarios and out of place 'comedy' scenes.
However it isn't completely boring. If you're the kind of person who likes movies filled with action and drama then you should definitely go for it.
