Loved this gen, top-notch, hilarious (and a lil scary) 😂 classy and wholesome entertainer BB2 for high-quality comedy, superlative acting (Kartik, Kiara supported by each and every supporting cast and and not to forget the excellent Tabu), great music 👏, superb direction and lovely BGM. The quality mixture of humor and horror is commendable. If you haven't watched it in theaters, I highly recommend you to do it now on OTT. Thanks for reading this review!

'Thappad' is actually an answer to 'Kabir Singh', the highly misogynistic movie. You can say it's Thappad to Kabir Singh on his face. It's a victory for the director for doing this! Domestic violence of different types are shown here aesthetically...both physical and mental. Different stories are woven so well that they touch your heart and you begin to realize that it's high time that the boys are tought at young age to be respectful to women in general and their future partners in particular. This is possible only if their parents are leading such a life themselves! Regarding the performance, Taapsee is great as usual. The debutante Pavail Gulati is excellent too, as an egoistic husband who is never apologetic for his actions. When he realizes it's rather too late. Other starcast are effortless and give the best to make the film more natural! A decent and must watch. A splendid message to take home. Thanks for reading!

Parasite is highly intriguing and thrilling with a lot of action happening throughout its running time. No wonder this black comic thriller won numerous awards, including the prestigious Oscar for The Best Film, The Best Director and so on. All characters are aptly chosen and they live up to the expectations of the director. Their facial expressions are remarkable, whether if its in the scenes with lighter moments or more terrifying ones in the second half. For those who cannot understand the language in which it was made (Korean), the well translated subtitles come in handy! Many would love to possess that beautiful, huge house with a great view, glorious interiors etc but definitely would hate to experience the horrifying incidents that occur in the bungalow and its mysterious cellar! Jawaani Jaaneman is not just a comedy flick, but it has heart felt emotions, a nice fresh story, wonderful message, told in a rather lighter way! The best part of this enjoyable film is the starcast for sure, as each and everyone is perfectly suited for the role they're playing. However, Saif, the highly underrated actor, just blows your mind with his cool acting skills. He's at his best in both the hilarious scenes and serious ones. It's so delightful to watch him on screen! Well, what can I say about this young cute kid, the debutante Alaya? All I want to write here is God bless her with more and more films in Bollywood. She just shines in her part with such a natural performance. Kudos also to her boldness for choosing to play this character in her very first movie, which some other girls of her age would've hesitated to do. Don't get it? I just don't want to spoil it for you. Just watch the film and you'll agree with me! Others like Tabu (the talented funny hippie) Chunky Pandey (superb), Kumud Mishra (excellent, as usual), The hairstylist (apt for the role), Farida Jalal (the veteran), Saif's father's character and not to forget Kiku Sharda (from The Kapil Sharma Show) are fabulous too! The songs are melodious and foot tapping! The message- The importance of having a family and loving it! Guys, have a great weekend and watch this terrific movie. Thanks much for reading my review!

If you're planning some fun this weekend, 'Jai Mummy Di' is something you can depend! The lead pair is a treat for the eyes, And their performance is simple and nice! The songs and choreography are a mere joy, For they make sure that you enjoy! While the songs are chart busters, Their sequences are stress-busters! Mummies works have been pretty decent, That make this flick you wouldn't repent! Direction - No perfection Cast - No blast The movie is neither lavishing nor luxurious...BUT STILL IT'S FANCY! 'JAI MUMMY DI', may not be a Lambhorghini, but it's definitely a Volkswagen Polo (Safe and comfortable)!

Chhapaak is a wonderful movie which should be dedicated to the innocent acid victims. The director, actor (also the producer of the heartening film) duo (the excellent Meghana Gulzar and the fabulous Deepika Padukone) have made an honest effort to bring justice to the victims. Deepika deserves all the accolades and awards for the sincere portrayal of Laxmi (the real acid attack survivor) and hope she's not overlooked for her recent comments and stand, which eventually got politicized. Deepika, Meghana and Vikrant Massey have done a great job and the lead lady will make you cry uncontrollably when she enacts the victim's sufferings. Guys, this is the second time I'm reviewing the film as the first one got vanished suddenly. This is so stupid..these fanatics are targetting the audience reviews too. God save our democracy and the freedom of speech!

Just came back watching 'Good Newwz' from the debutante director Raj Mehta. It's definitely a good news for the Bollywood lovers as this romcom gives us a perfect hilarious flick as we say bye bye to 2019! Good Newwz may have a multiple starcast with Akshay, Kareena, Diljit and Kiara, along with the fab doc couple Adil and Tisca, but it's mostly Akshay who makes us ROFL (in whole of the first half) and cry (in some of the terrific emotional scenes in the second half). However it doesn't mean that others give some average work. Kareena, Diljit, Adil, Kiara and Tisca are wonderful too and have done a great job! Kudos to the director, writing team, cameramen and ofcourse the casting director (everyone is apt for their roles) for the tremendous work. Music is fun too in this movie and it merges with the plot splendidly! Guys, just go watch this wonder and return home in a happy mood. A very happy and prosperous New Year 2020 to one and all!

'Pati Patni Aur Woh' may be your best watch for this weekend, as it entertains you and tickles your funny bones in parts, mostly in its second part! This may not be Kartik Aryan's best so far, still he gives his best in this average storyline film. Guys just don't go with high expectations as the beginning is above average, while the pace picks up really fast as the movie sails through post interval! The casting is perfect with Kartik playing the 'ever confusing' Chintu Tyagi, Aparshakti Khurrana as his supporting friend, Bhumi as his loving wife and Ananya Pandey (my God, she's a gorgeous kid, who has a bright future) as his 'Woh'. Even the supporting roles are chosen well by the casting director! The songs are so enjoyable, in spite of being remixed (well done Yo Yo Honey Singh) and the choreographer has done a splendid job as well! Sunny Singh and Kriti Sanon are cute in their respective guest appearances! Overall this romantic comedy flick is a good choice for the whole family! I'm going with a (stingy?) 3 stars.
