This is an excellent film when shown in the original wide-screen. But Netflix and Amazon are showing a butchered full-screen version.

Funny and romantic with fine performances by KIdman and Ferrell.

This should have been a 30- or 40-minute documentary, rather than a two hour plus movie with major stars. What a depressing waste of time!

Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn are the perfect comedy duo. There are poignant moments of drama in this, too. It's an amazing achievement!

It takes a good story to make a good film, and this is a tedious, violent, and depressing story.

This isn’t a great film, and the story feels oppressive at times, but the performances by Dorff, Nichols, and Kilmer are outstanding.

This is a very effective, and dark, psychological thriller with strong performances by all three main actors. This is a beautifully rendered film: imaginative cinematography and an evocative musical score. The ending is disturbing as hell, but seems appropriate given what leads up to it.

This is a very entertaining, if implausible, action movie with a strong performance by Gerard Butler (as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning). I’m giving this a thumbs up for its entertainment value primarily. But I also give it credit for two exceptional performances, by Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman.
