This show is loosely inspired by the books who share the same name. I'm not a written source purist, but give me a break! They only kept the surface action and characters, and completely destroyed the deeper meaning behind the world Robert Jordan built. I hated reading growing up, and it wasn't until I was trapped on a ship for 6 months in the Navy that I would begin to LOVE reading with this series. Why-oh-why would somebody choose to make a show about a story they had so many ideological issues with???
