I don’t normally watch shows like this, but I’m glad I did. I originally planned to watch it when it first came out in 2017, but I was distracted while watching so I didn’t make it through the first episode. 3 years later I am here having just finished the series and I ABSOLUTELY loved it. I wish I watched it sooner. There are so many things I love about this show. I found myself getting so immersed with the story and all the characters that I couldn’t stop watching. Not only is it a coming of age story, but this show addresses issues that were happening back then and are still happening now. This show was really eye opening and has left me inspired. I wish more people were open to watching Anne with an “E” because it’s an amazing show and I wish it wasn’t cancelled.
