The most psychologically impactful ending I think I have ever seen to any movie or series ever. Watched it over two years ago now and I’m still not over the feeling it left me with. Would love to watch it again, but I haven’t yet been brave enough to revisit it lol. Truly remarkable & profound — which sounds SO pretentious to say, I know I know (and I’m sorry for that!!), but damnit it is. Bravo. And also wth is wrong with you @who’s_ever_the_brainchild_of_this_was?? But mostly: bravo. I think you might be some kind of genius. A visionary at the least, anyway

Honestly one of the best limited TV series I’ve ever seen. Amazingly produced, directed, written & acted. Despite having the ability to watch it via a streaming service (of which I am subscribed to) I decided to buy the season just so that I will always be able to watch it again regardless of streaming channel changes of contracts, shows, etc. Seriously an extremely well-executed (and even better viewed) series

This type of show is usually/typically not my kind of vibe — but I gotta say it: I love this show. Yeah it’s not some super mega groundbreaking type of show, but damn is it a delight to watch. I fully recommend it if you’re in the mood (or just in search of a new show to watch cuz your regular ones are donezo for the time-being) for something heartfelt and real, I’d highly recommend this show. I believe the show has wrapped now, but I would be fully happy to learn that it continues on. Just for a baseline type of reference here — I would say if you enjoy ted lasso (not really my cup of tea, personally, but that is also definitely an uplifting/heartfelt show) then you would like this show. This show isn’t so in-your-face uplifting like Ted lasso (I’m sure there’s other comparisons that would be better suited here but that’s the first show that popped into my mind), but it is heartwarming in the sense that you get to see the lifetime of how a friendship develops/changes/ebb and flows (and the growing pains of such as we as individual people will change as we age and grow as well as the ever-increasing complexity in our life situations/responsibilities/circumstances that come with the territory of growing as a person/adult). Overall: love the show & recommend

In short: Love this series so far. Updates to follow. In less-than-short: I am only halfway through the first episode — and although I commonly write reviews about shows once I have seen them all the way through, where many of the times I have seen it multiples times all the way through just to get a real solid opinion on them, this show in particular has inspired me immediately to write a review of my experience watching it. This truly goes against my code for film reviewing — I need to emphasize that here as a disclaimer. This show already very much has gripped me. I will update this post/review once I have completed the series in full (like a sane & helpful person would do, of course), but this is the first time a show has made such an immediate good impression on me. Again, I have only watched half of the first episode, but it has subtle remnants of a show I previously watched just under a year ago (I think anyway—time is weird, amirite fellas?) called The Capture which I genuinely loved (note: don’t let the negative reviews sway you away from watching it — and I say this as a very tough/thoughtful critic of films of any genre — it was an objectively captivating (pun not intended but I am delighted at its surprising presence here nonetheless!🤪). I digress. I’ve watched just about every show a person can, whether some dramatic series or any other genre of series, documentaries mockumentaries, etc I have probably seen it. I might be over indulging in my lack of brevity skills (virtually non-existent to begin with really) since I took a sleeping med a bit ago and am feeling that kick in HARD LOL. In short: Love this series so far. Updates to follow.

The fact that this show only has 4.1 stars is an abomination. I think I have watched every show — popular & fringe & anything in-between — and this is one of my favorite shows maybe ever. Y’all don’t know me but if you did you would know just how HUGE of a claim that was coming from me. I am a SNOOTY lil obsessive cinephile and am in outright awe (derogatory) at how anyone could ever rate this show as less than 5 stars. Again: 4.1 stars is an abomination — it furthers the immense evidence of depravity of the soul of the human species good-day, sir!
