Saw Ghostbusters After life this evening.. ( NO SPOILERS I PROMISE ) This movie is for the fan base.. those that enjoyed the originals & pays a loving tribute to everything that the OG were about. Well done! Was hooked after the first 5 mins. So Many Easter eggs that a true fan will enjoy..not to be disappointed. Personally.. after reading the critics comments.. In my opinion they ( the critics ) have no business reviewing this one. It’s for Fans only!! ♥️♥️ I know As I sat watching this movie.. for just about 2 hrs…I felt transported back to the theater when I was 10yrs old.. watching for the first time. It’s has a very nostalgic feel to it. Bittersweet if I may. The theater was packed w fans my age & older.. clapping in parts.. laughing in others.. the chatter as we parted ways was that of “well, was it worth it”? “Most Definitely“ to “So what did you think”? “It was perfect”. Those are the critics I believe in .. the ones paying to see it.. so that’s my review. It’s PG-13 kids will enjoy if they never watched any of them.. parents that remember NYC under attack.. a Stay Puff Marshmellow man.. a gate keeper & Key master will very much enjoy this trip down memory lane. I know I did. #ECTO1

I’m a huge fan of this franchise. This was my first movie back in the theaters in 14 mo. Was excited to watch. Did I love it?? Well, This installment however was a bit “to long”at 2hrs 25min w 35 mins of previews and tad bit far like “out in space” far fetched. That really was my biggest complaint. But... being I’d watch another if it came out..which I’m sure one will as they promised to honor Paul Walkers request for 10.. it was good. He would be proud of them all. Nice action scenes but the CGI got a bit cheesy in a few parts like it was rushed in editing. I loved the characters and how everything tied together. They have all aged but honestly that just shows how far they came w this franchise. Again I’m a huge fan. It was nice seeing them all on the big screen again!! Over all I’d give it a 5/10. It was a fun ride. Not the best in the franchise but hey they all can’t be right?! The humor was good in parts. Myself personally I Wanted more racing. More old school FF. That’s just my opinion. As My son ,15 loved it! My daughter 19 also “liked it” it. So...would I say save your money or skip this one.. eh.. I belong to the A list at AMC so for us.. it was a great night out after the pandemic. Plus I didn’t hate it. If paying $20 a ticket.. mb hit up a cheaper showing esp if bringing the kids. As it’s long. Movies are starting to come back. Go out and enjoy!!Its summer!! If you’re a true FF fan.. it’s no Fast 7 but no Tokyo drift either. You can be your own critic. I don’t regret seeing it at all. John Cena even did a pretty good job. Stay during the credits as there is something else.

I watched this film at home on HBOMax... Not bad for something new. There were some really good action scenes. There were also some very unrealistic scenes. The over all story was heading in the right direction leaving me interested and wanting more..then Sadly fell short with so many plot holes. That was a bit disappointing. It was as if when this movie hit the editing room they cut so much it left holes in the story. Which sadly does happen.. and after this past year making a movie hasn’t been the easiest to do!! So I do give credit.. it’s just a Bummer as it could have been amazing! Esp w so many great actors in this film! Leaving so many open endings it was a bit frustrating. Esp in the end. Wanting to know more info ...just to get the credits. Ugh that drives me crazy!! Lol Otherwise...Acting was good. Action was good. Just wanted more in the way of the story lines. Fell a bit short for me. I still gave a 3 out of 5 as it was still a fun ride. I’d definitely give this a C-..wasn’t an epic fail... Didn’t hate it... Didn’t love it.
