Rainmaker Amadeus

Now thanks to the streaming platforms we are getting a ton of foreign fare. Now I have to read my tv shows which is annoying. I'm used to this with art films but not tv shows. There's usually a dubbing option and most of the time it's horrific. You would expect that in English the people would use the correct accent of the country in which TV show hails from, instead we are many times treated with Americans mouthing out verbiage that hopefully matches the flapping of everyone's mouth. It is quite funny when you listen to American accents forced upon the US & UK when the program is Norwegian, German, Spanish, French etc. I'm Soo distracted by the bad dubbing I can't enjoy this show. At least the English dubbing is VERY GOOD on RAGNAROK..but they put some thought into it, obviously.

I love the show but: They never really explain why Norman is so completely out of his mind, Norma Bates doesn't seem that crazy. She's delicious eye candy with great acting range and a more original and intense personality than most actresses so...it was really a huge let down when they killed her off at the end of season 4!!!! I was so completely turned off and shocked and lost interest in the show the VERY MOMENT I realized she is actually dead. I was hoping she would revive in the morgue at least. I mouthed the words with eyes wide "You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME" when I saw this ATROCITY. 😔😖 Why would they do something so utterly stupid as killing her off!??!?! She was the LIGHT of the show as a LIVE person!! What a HUGE disappointment & let down to such a good show!!!
