A terrible production. Who are these made up characters? Why can’t the BBC make a faithful adaptation of a brilliant story? It needs no changes. I’ve just re-read it in case I had mis-remembered it, but I hadn’t. If you haven’t read the book then get a copy and you’ll be amazed at the story, the writing, the imagination.
