Positives: Watching the Eternals, my mind was intrigued by the special effects and the action from the start. I thought Chloe Zhao did a stellar job with the continuous visual stimulation lasting throughout the movie. Her portrayal of the characters were brilliant in so far as each had their own unique likable personality that differentiated from each other which complimented in the story line. The characters were played so well that additional eternal films could be easily made. Critiques: I felt the story relied on an abundance of CGI. I mean that the appeal behind characters is the origins of their powers and the specificity around its capabilities. I think audience enjoys the physics in understanding their favorite characters capabilities and beams of energy can create a disconnect because it makes it difficult to anticipate any foreseeable match with villains in the future. With that being said, I think the Eternals films moving forward have amazing potential to leave their mark in the MCU and look forward to watching the next one.
