Truly one to forget, a pale imitation of a classic British Rom Com by Richard Curtis, diluted down to a pitiful resemblance of the original and adding so many American characters means it loses a great deal of what it was originally intended to be, a jest of British Society in the 1990s, from Wealthy to poor, from success and focuss to failure and sadness, we’re not so dissimilar when it comes to love and friendship. My recommendation, watch the original, THEN watch the newer version and make of it what you will, but I think they dropped a clanger with this production.
