83 got hit by pandemic like people did in second wave of Covid. It might not have achieved what it sought out to achieve at the box office but this movie is pure beauty for every Indian. Any cricket lover who doesn't mind over the top emotions and drama would not be able to take his eyes off the screen once the movie starts. The brilliant cast that includes the legendary Ranveer Singh gives life to this marvellous historic event. Every single dialogue out of Ranveer's mouth is as good as art and the rest of the cast was so good that you'd want to Google everyone when the movie is over. This movie made me laugh and cry and feel alive and only the best of the best movies have the power to do that. Even if you know the ending and the plot of the movie all too well, it will still keep you at the edge of your seat the whole time. This is a true cricket movie and you don't have to be a cricket fan to love and appreciate it. Watch it with your loved ones and have a great experience. You won't regret it.

I have always been a big fan of the Holocaust movies since these kinds of movies surprisingly make and break my faith in humanity at the same time but when I started this movie, I had no idea what I was in for. It started out so innocent, takes its sweet time in the build up and then completely wrecks you. It goes to show how a sweet, innocent friendship between two kids can have an exploding, palpable effect on the society as a whole. If I were to describe this movie in one word, I'd say this movie was 'Heartbreaking'. There were so many moments when I wanted to just give up and not continue with the movie but I couldn't actually move my body to shut it down. I could not not go through with it. The harsh realities of the German prison camps combined with the soothing and pure relationship of the two kids from two different worlds is something you can't move past from. You know what's going to happen, you know it doesn't end well but you keep watching, hoping for a different ending; and you do. You do get an ending you couldn't have ever dreamed of. I wouldn't spoil it for ya but yes, you're going to die a little. Don't let me scare you folks, just go with it you hate your life because it's definitely going to make you feel better and insanely grateful for what you have and the fact that you were born in the post Nazi era.

To be honest, I was totally, 100% sure that this movie wouldn't even come close to the high standards set by the classic animated Alladin and boy, was I wrong!! This movie is everything you would ever imagine Aladdin to be. Starting from the music, oh the music, it speaks to you and it's effect is accentuated by the ridiculously amazing acting of the cast which brings me to my other point, the cast. Trust me folks, it couldn't have been better. Will Smith, as expected, was the highlight of the movie but Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott weren't far behind. I don't wanna give out any spoilers but Naomi Scott's rendition of Speechless gave me goosebumps. Also, a tiny shoutout to the mad dancing skills of Mena Massoud. And now the main part, the storyline, I mean everybody knows how Aladdin goes but it still keeps you hooked with its incredible humor and special effects and music and basically everything. All in all, this is one hell of a movie and you should totally go for it.
