Much better than RE 7 from beginning to end. Got that RE 4 vibe plus new game plus is a treat. Would recommend. Still I prefer the old school RE's from 1-4 plus the remakes. But RE 8 has become ones of the those games I'll be playing more often and will pop it in now and then compared to RE 7 where after a certain the game loses it charm.
