(contains spoilers) Even after watching it, I am not sure what the movie was trying to convey. The story goes from being about arranged marriage to long distance relationship to love after marriage. I don't even know where to begin about the stereotypes, the movies is so full of it. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I don't understand why having Tamil artists playing the lead in a movie about Tamil Culture so hard to do. Also what's the deal with the main female lead wearing a mangalasutra with black beads instead of the the normal thali on yellow thread or on gold chain. 🤔 Anyway, the story itself lost pace in a lot of places and just got plain boring after a while. Like typical romantic movies, the ending had no resolution of the fight she had with the groom's family. The main leads just made up and that's all. Not sure how that works. Overall, a confused movie that had big aspirations of being an authentic take on Tamil Culture but utterly failed at it.
