If you haven’t read the books then this movie will be okay at the most. But if read the first book in less than 24 hours like I did because I couldn’t put it down, then this movie will be a total let down. It’s almost like it wasn’t even based off the book at all in my opinion, SO much important info and scenes were left out. And no one else will get to experience the formation and ups and downs of Hardin and Tessa’s relationship. Everything was SO rushed, and so much was skipped. A time lapse of 3 months goes by in the book, but in the movie it’s like only 3 weeks went by. And how could they just leave Zed about of basically the entire movie when he became an important role in Tessa’s life and swing of emotions, they don’t even show her bond with Hardin’s family, Noah is hardly in it. We barely get to see her friendship with Landon grow when he becomes her best friend. I was SOOO disappointed. If they make a second I hope they learn from this first one and make it so much better and more like the book.
