⚠️ Warning: Small spoilers, but not enough to ruin or spoil the movie experience.
⚠️ Warning: Despite this movie being made for kids it’s villain as well as her compatriots are scary enough to where kids younger then 10+ may find the movie disturbing at best. Yes they are that scary.
Boy howdy is this one interesting movie, if your like me and haven’t watched any of the content related to this movie in the past then you will find the first half of the movie to be enjoyable. The movie has a really nice and heartwarming start between two characters, the grandmother and the grandson who is for some reason never given a name. They bond together very well, but due to certain circumstances they need to move. And that’s when the second half of the movie starts to turn odd, and certain actions taken by the grandmother and grandson of the movie are odd and unrealistic. The decisions they make are eye rolling at best, and although by the end of the movie they succeed at their goals. It still surprised me as to why they made some of the decisions they made. At some points it seemed like the writers went out of their way to make the protagonists fail. Which would be fine if it wasn't for the fact that the way they do so are unrealistic. The movie is fine, but has some scary scenes, one seen revolving around the baddy getting her fingers and nails cut in a fan as she screams in pain. And another where a kid is forcibly mousafied begging for his life. But the acting for the most part is good and the story, although having a lot of holes. Isn't annoying enough to ruin your experience.
I don’t regret watching the film, but I definitely could have watched something better. 3/5 ⭐️’s
