Greatest. Christmas movie. ever.

I found that the movie felt too rushed in some parts and too slow in others. The first hour of the movie could've easily been shortened down to 30 minutes. During the last 15 minutes I got restless and bored. Some characters didn't get proper development like Journey, Edison and Buddy. Journey didn't have enough depth to her character and Edison was just there for a few scenes. Barely anything was done with Buddy, except being the McGuffin. I found Don Juan to be the most annoying awful character ever. I didn't laugh a single time at him and he was overall the worst character. Gustafson also could've been so much better! I thought he would be all over the top and funny but he was kind of underwhelming to be honest. I thought the message was ok and the execution of that message was also ok. I did, however, like the songs and I did like Jeronicus and Ms. Johnston. I thought the scenes with the two of them were pretty funny. Overall, the movie was okay and I wouldn't exactly recommend it. At least it's not 'Jingle all the Way'
