I'm not a connoisseur of this genre by any stretch, and I just happened upon a used copy of what I now know is Vol. 4 of this series, but I was thoroughly engrossed and entertained. Even though I'm not a Brooklynite with an Italian father and Jewish mother I could relate to a lot of his memories of growing up during the turbulent 60's (I just need to find the other 3 volumes now....good luck, eh?)
