Went to see it today and absolutely loved it! I am a big fan of Seth Rogen and he was amazing as pumbaa! Timón and Pumbaa were very entertaining! Even Zazu. I am a bit sad however that Nathan Lane didn't come back as Timon since he was the original Timon. I also loved Matthew Broderick as Simba from the original also and Rowan Atkinsons as Zazu from the original movie do I wish they done came back as their characters. James Earl Jones I was very very excited to see him as Mufasa again and watching him in this he blew me away! That man has talent! Noone can play Mufasa like James Earl Jones, he's made for that role! I wasn't impressed by Beyoncé playing Nala. I honestly think she butchered that role. She was okayish at can you feel the love tonight song but I would have loved Elton John to have sing that song again since he was amazing at singing that song! So yeah I was disappointed about Beyoncé as Nala. I also am raging that Jeremy Irons didnt come back as Scar since he was also made for that role. (Spoliers Alert) I was upset that some of the most famous scenes were not in it like 1. When rafaki was showing Simba that Mufasa was up in the clouds looking down on him, you couldn't see him. You can only see lightning that looks a bit like a lion but only lasts a second. 2. I was so excited to see the scene where Rafaki hit Simba with his stick which didn't happen. 3. And when Pumbaa was angry at the hyenas he never said his famous line "who they calling a pig" and "they call me MR PIG!!!" Them lines from the original have me on the floor laughing everytime.
