I was quite surprised by some of the negative reviews I saw for this series but apparently, a number of people failed to grasp what the writer was trying to portray: Human nature in it's truest form. It's so real and raw, you can almost feel it. Not many Kdramas have been able to accurately do so!
The scene where the prof's daughter confronted him was by far the best, I had to pause it at some point cos the emotions was so overwhelming. This movie has helped me see love and marriage in another light.
3 couples, each of them with cheating husbands, irrespective of the character of their wives. It just goes to show how much of a choice and less of an emotion, love is. I'm super expectant for season 2, I especially can't wait to see the reaction of the Psychiatrist's wife, when she finds out her "loving" husband is a cheat!😅 I honestly didn't like how she treats her mom, so I'm anxious to see what she'll do, when she's in the exact same shoes her mom was, especially considering how good a wife she is.
Am I the only one who hates the stepmom?! 🙄
The lawyer's wife is extremely narcissistic, self-absorbed and inconsiderate. Her desperation for the sound engineer guy to give her attention, is honestly appalling. That still doesn't justify her husband's cheating tho.
I was so curious to see how the professor started his affair, considering his plea in EP 7, but after I saw the last episode, I realized he wasn't all that different from the Psychiatrist or any other cheating husband... He simply lacked the opportunity.
My favorite couple tho is the Lawyer's parents, their back and forth bickering is such a comedy relief and a delight to watch😂
In conclusion, there is a lot to learn from this series if you view it with an open mind. It doesn't in a way justify extramarital affairs, it simply portrays an unbiased view of both sides. You, the audience, get to be the judge on who's right and who isn't...
Kudos to the actors, such beautiful performance. The writer, director and producers did a brilliant job also👏
